A Rare, Historic Opportunity

There is great excitement across Klal Yisroel worldwide at the welcome news that has spread rapidly: the esteemed descendants of Maran Rabbi Shabsai HaKohen zy"a — the Baal HaShach and Nekudos HaKesef on Shulchan Aruch — are establishing a comprehensive Hachnosas Orchim complex in the town of Holešov, Czechia, right beside the holy Tziyun of the revered Shach zy"a.

Rabbeinu HaShach is renowned for his profound and foundational commentaries on Shulchan Aruch, Yoreh De'ah and Choshen Mishpat — including the Shach, Nekudos HaKesef, and Kuntres HaAcharon — wherein he engages in deep analysis with the holy Turei Zahav (Taz) on the rulings of the Mechaber and Rema, determining the final practical halacha.

Klal Yisroel throughout the generations studies the holy commentary of the Shach. Every word is plumbed to its halachic depth, yielding countless principles directly guiding practical Jewish observance.

The Shach passed away at a very young age and was laid to rest in Holešov. Following his petirah, his holy Tziyun became a focal point drawing thousands of visitors from near and far. Men, women, and children came to pour out their hearts in prayer at the holy Tziyun, a revered place to merit salvations, healings, and blessings for all spiritual and material needs.

Since the Second World War, few have visited the Beis HaChaim, and Holešov — the sacred resting place of the holy Shach — has stood largely quiet. Being off the beaten path, it lacked the basic facilities for travelers: there was no Beis Medrash, no Mikvah, and no Hachnosas Orchim to accommodate visitors properly.

A Historic Turning Point

The founding of the Vaad Hachnosas Orchim D'Rabbeinu HaShach

All this changed a few years ago, when the distinguished descendants of the Shach united to restore the historic glory of the holy Tziyun, enabling thousands of visitors from around the world to once again visit his resting place and pray for salvations and refuos, both for the community and individuals.

In recent years, countless accounts of salvations and healings witnessed at the holy Tziyun of the Shach zy"a have emerged, echoing the visits of great tzaddikim in earlier generations. The organizers receive continuous reports of wondrous yeshuos experienced after praying at the Tziyun — abundant parnassah, children, shidduchim, complete health, and blessings in every area of life.

A Historic Purchase

A building goes under contract

As soon as the organizers undertook this mission, they witnessed tremendous enthusiasm from the public eager to pray at the holy Tziyun year-round. They dedicated themselves to doing everything possible to develop this sacred site, and with Heavenly assistance, a contract was recently signed on a building and grounds directly adjacent to the holy Tziyun of the revered Shach zy"a.

All endeavors are guided, b'ezras Hashem, under a distinguished Vaad HaRabbonim composed of the Shach's descendants, headed by HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Avrohom Hersh Wosner shlit"a, Av Beis Din Satmar Monsey, HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Michel Steinmetz shlit"a, Dayan of Skver, and other leading rabbonim.
